name:
Sequence variation in the E7 gene of human papillomavirus type 18 in tumor and non-tumor patients and antibody response to a conserved seroreactive epitope.
description:
The epitope sequence was described in Bleul et al, J Clin Microbiol:29(8) 1991 [PMID:1722219].
An increase of antibody reactivity with advanced stage was observed: 1/5 patients with stage-I or stage-II was seropositive, compared to 5/7 patients with stage-III disease. The difference was not significant.
