name:
Potent anti-HPV immune responses induced by tandem repeats of the HPV16 L2 (20 -- 38) peptide displayed on bacterial thioredoxin.
description:
The epitope sequence was cited in Pastrana et al. (2005) Virology. 2005 Jul 5
337(2):365-72 [PMID: 15885736].
The epitope-specific antiserum against the epitope monomer was not able to block infection of 293T cells with HPV16. In contrast, the antiserum against the multipeptide was potent in inhibition of the infection.
