| name: |
Detection of antibodies against a human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 peptide that differentiate high-risk from low-risk HPV-associated low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions.
| description: |
Similar results were observed for IgA antibody responses in cervical secretions. Seropositivity in cervical cancer patients was significantly lower than that detected in high-risk HPV-associated LSIL patients. The 16L1 peptide-based ELISA was able to detect a high proportion (91.6%) of LSIL patients who were actually infected with high-risk HPV types and produced low levels of false-positive and false-negative results.
