name:
Serum antibody responses against human papillomavirus in relation to tumor characteristics, response to treatment, and survival in carcinoma of the uterine cervix.
description:
Epitope sequence is found in reference Dillner et al., Cancer Res. 1994 Jan 1
54(1):134-41, [PMID: 8261434].
An extra cysteine was added to the C-terminus during peptide synthesis. An increased pretreatment antibody level was found to be associated with a shortened survival for IgA responses against the epitope. In patients who received cancer treatment and showed complete remission, a significant decline of epitope-specific Ab levels was found.
