name:
A peptide encoding a B-cell epitope from the N-terminus of the capsid protein L2 of bovine papillomavirus-4 prevents disease.
description:
Papilloma development was monitored at 6 weeks and 10 weeks after experimental challenge. In further experiments, it was shown that co-vaccination with this and two other L2 epitopes (aa 101–120 TGVPIDPAVPDSSIVPLLES and aa 131–151 PGAEIEIIAEVHPPPVYEGPE) resulted in complete protection from papillomavirus infection.
