description:	The source of the epitope sequence was provided in cited reference Jenison et al. J Virol 1989 63:809-818 [PMID: 2463384]. Serum from a rabbit immunized with the HPV6 L1 epitope-TT conjugate recognized the 57kDa major capsid protein of HPV11. The same was observed in ELISA format. Only disrupted (not intact) virus was recognized.
