name:
Antibody cross-reactivity between myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein and the milk protein butyrophilin in multiple sclerosis.
description:
The frequency of responses was consistently lower in MS patients than in healthy donors. The response was significantly higher in CSF than in serum. The response remained after Abs were affinity purified against human MOG protein. The response was negative in MOG-reactive Abs isolated from a commercial Ig preparation from several thousand healthy donors.
