description:	Maximal responses were observed after the fourth immunization at week 7. Immunization with carbohydrate-free VSK1 or VSK1 galactosylated on Thr at position 3 generated similar responses to the respective immunizing peptides. However, immunization with VSK1 double galactosylated on Thr at positions 3 and 4 did not generate a significant antibody response to the immunizing peptide.
