description:	The epitope-specific monoclonal antibody was shown to react with the NP of JUNV, as well as with those of other pathogenic South American arenaviruses (Machupo virus, Guanarito virus, Sabia virus, and Chapare virus). The monoclonal antibody did not react with NP of Lassa virus. Similar results were obtained with IFA assays.
