name:
Human T-cell lymphotropic virus (HTLV)-related endogenous sequence, HRES-1, encodes a 28-kDa protein: a possible autoantigen for HTLV-I gag-reactive autoantibodies.
description:
The epitope-specific Ab bound to a protein in the H9 human T-cell leukemia cell line of a size that is in agreement with the calculated molecular weight of the HRES-1 protein. High-level HRES-1 expression was noted in H9 T cells, whereas no significant staining of DG75 Burkitt lymphoma B cells was noted. Expression of HRES-1 is localized to the cytoplasm and to nuclear bodies in H9 cells.
