name:
Phosphorylated and nonphosphorylated epitopes of the La/SSB autoantigen: comparison of their antigenic and conformational characteristics.
description:
The phosphorylated form of the epitope was better recognized by sera from Sjögren syndrome and SLE sera than its nonphosphorylated counterpart. Conformational analysis showed that the phosphorylated epitope adopts different structural characteristics from those of the corresponding nonphosphorylated epitope.
