name:
Mouse anti-benzylpenicilloyl IgE monoclonal antibody: preparation, characterization and cross-reactivity.
description:
Hypersensitivity was detected using a rat or mouse passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) assay with BPO-guinea pig albumin. Fine specificity assays using affinity chromatography elution of affinity-bound epitope-specific mAb showed that the haptenic specificity of the IgE monoclonal antibody was directed mainly to phenylacetyl portion of BPO group.
