The epitope sequence was previously described in D'Arpa et al, Biochemistry:85(2543) 1988 [PMID:2833744].
Similar results were observed in anti-Topo I positive and anti-U3RNP positive sera. No binding was seen in anti-ACA positive sera. The epitope competed against itself in ELISA.
