name:
RNA recognition motif (RRM) of La/SSB: the bridge for interparticle spreading of autoimmune response to U1-RNP.
description:
Reactivity to the U1RNP particle was detected by ELISA and its reactivity could be abrogated by adsobing the sera with the immunizing peptide. Also, Western blot analysis of rabbit thymocytes and HeLa cells extracts showed specific labelling of a protein of 70KDa that is presumably the RNP-70 autoantigen.
