Epitope-immunized 129/J, A/J, AKR/J, Balb/C, PL/J and SJL/J sera reacted with the nRNP protein in ELISA. SJL/J, A/J, 129/J, and AKR/J peptide-immunized mice develop positive antinuclear Ab (ANA) at titers of at least 1/80, and the AKR/J mice had titers >1/360.
