name:
Synthetic compound peptide simulating antigenicity of conformation-dependent autoepitope.
description:
The epitope is a compound peptide of PCNA residues 106-112 and 127-135 with an added C-terminal Cys residue.
The epitope-specific rabbit antiserum showed speckled nucleoplasmic staining which was not cell cycle dependent in human HeEp-2 cells by immunofluorescence. The sulfhydryl-modifying reagent thimerosal (TMS) did not affect the nuclear immunofluorescence with the rabbit antiserum.
