The epitope specific mAb 155 cross-reacted with 23 kDa cow troponin I. Cow fast troponin I contains residues 165-174 (EEKSGMEGRK) homologous to the epitope. MAb 155 decorates cow skeletal muscle myofibrils in a striated manner. It did not react with cardiac muscle.
