Binding of a neutralizing antibody to dengue virus alters the arrangement of surface glycoproteins.
|
| description: |
The cryoEM reconstruction of Fab complexed with DENV2 incubated at 37 °C was determined to 24 Å resolution. An asymmetric unit contains two complexes of Fab and E protein and one uncomplexed E protein. The epitope on the domain III is completely exposed and its associated domain II has a fusion tip pointing toward the viral lipid envelope. The structure contains coordinates of only Calpha atoms, therefore the contacts cannot be calculated.
