Structure of the insulin receptor ectodomain reveals a folded-over conformation.
|
| description: |
Epitope residues were defined based on calculating atom-atom contacts at distance of 4 Å
in the structure [PDB: 2DTG], chains C, D, E.
The crystal structure of the insulin receptor (IR-A) ectodomain dimer complexed with four Fabs from mAbs 83-7 and 83-14 was determined. Fab 83-14 interacts with FnIII domains of one monomer of the antigen homodimer.
