description:	The epitope contained an additional C-terminal Gly residue. The epitope was able to inhibit binding of the antiserum to the MBP peptide 69-84G (GSLPQKSQRSQDENG). Various analogs containing MBP sequences from 69 to 74 linked to the epitope by 4 Leucine residues, were less effective in inhibiting binding.
