description:	Immunization with the epitope protected the animals from fertilization. The number of ovulation sites was lower than in control animals. Immunization with the epitope had a significant effect on the number of eggs. The percentage of females with embryos was lower in immunized animals (25%) compared to the control group of animals (56%). No difference was seen in the number of small, medium, large, or atretic follicles in treated animals compared to the control animals.
