The epitope specific monoclonal antibody reacted with Porcine circovirus 2 on infected PK15 cells. The epitope specific monoclonal antibody was unable to bind a mutant virus mutated at residues I44, V45 and N102 and L103. Mutational analysis confirmed specificity of 1C1 for PCV2.
