description:	The epitope sequence was previously described in Adamus et al, Vision Res:31(17) 1991 [PMID:2006550]. The epitope was determined to be the core of the 324-348 peptide using a series of overlapping peptides. Additional truncations revealed that residues P11 and A12 were critical for binding.
