name:
Human major histocompatibility complex class I antigens: residues 61-83 of the HLA-B7 heavy chain specify an alloreactive site.
description:
Binding of the epitope-specific antibodies to a panel of extracts from lymphoblastoid cells that had been intrinsically radiolabeled with [3H]leucine was tested. Only those cell lines that serologically typed as HLA-B7 positive were capable of reacting with the antibody (GM3107, GM3161, GM1857). The antibodies also recognized partially purified glycoprotein extracts of B-lymphoblastoid cells expressing either HLA-B7 (GM3107).
