Mechanism of dinitrochlorobenzene-induced dermatitis in mice: role of specific antibodies in pathogenesis.
|
| description: |
Topical administration of DNCB induced DNCB-specific Ab in mice by day 11 after 2 doses of DNCB. Administration of dexamethasone (DEX) reduced the level of anti-DNCB Ab. DNCB-specific serum IgG levels in the B-KO mice remained at the baseline levels following multiple DNCB treatments, which demonstrated that the B-KO mice could not produce DNCB-specific Abs. Serum IgG1, IgG2a, and IgG2b were all positive.
