description:	The epitope sequence is from the cited reference: Mori et al. (1992) J Biol Chem 267: 17082-17086 [PMID:1512246]. The epitope specific mAb 2G9 reacted with Aß 1-42, but not Aß 1-40 by dot blot. The mAb also recognized deposits of Aß 1-42, but not Aß 1-40, injected into rat brains as shown by immunohistochemistry.
