description:	The epitope sequence is from the cited reference: Mori et al. (1992) J Biol Chem 267: 17082-17086 [PMID:1512246]. The epitope specific mAb 2G9 immunostained plaque cores, diffuse deposits and vascular amyloid deposits in the frontal cortex of patients with severe Alzheimer's disease. No staining in normal brain was observed.
