description:	The epitope was selected from a phage display random peptide library, which was mimic of human blood carbohydrate blood group A antigen. The epitope-GST fusion protein inhibited anti-A mAb from binding to C5 or C17 phage clone in a dose-dependent manner. Anti-A mAb bound to the epitope displayed on the phage.
