description:	The epitope-specific mAbs recognized the peptide. The epitope sequence was deduced by study of overlapping peptides. A longer fragment spanning aa (294-494) was also recognized. A phage library displaying 12-mer random peptides was screened against the mAb M2165 and residues L1 and N4 were identified as critical residues.
