description:	The epitope-specific mAbs reacted in colony blots with bacteria from 2/3 strains of H. influenza type b, 1/1 strains of H. influenza type d, and 7/9 strains of NTHI. They did not react with H.influenza types a, c, e or f strains tested. They reacted with 1/2 H. parahaemolyticus strains, 1/5 N. gonorrhea strains and 3/5 S. minnessota R mutant strains, but they did not react with the H. aegyptus, ducreyi, parainfluenza, paraprophilus, N. meningitidis and B. catarrhalis strains tested.
