The epitope specific mAb BC05 immunoblotted Aß immunoprecipitated by mAb 4G8 (anti-Aß 17-24) from the basolateral and apical compartments of MDCK cells transfected with human ßAPP695 cDNA. MAb BC05 was also used as a detector antibody in a two site enzyme immunoassay with MAb BAN50 (anti-Aß 1-16) as a capture antibody to detect Aß leaked by MDCK cells transfected with ßAPP695 cDNA.
