The epitope specific mAb 4G8 immunoprecipitated Aß 1-40 from the basolateral and apical compartments of MDCK cells transfected with human ßAPP695 cDNA. In MDCK cells transfected with human ßAPP695 with a 42 aa truncation at the carboxy terminus, mAb 4G8 immunoprecipitated a mix of Aß 1-40 and Aß 1-42 from the apical compartment.
