description:	Sera from rabbit RBC membranes (RRBC)-immunized mice reacted with the epitope-BSA conjugate in an ELISA. IgG3, IgG2a and IgG2b were also positive. The sera also reacted with epitope-expressing mouse laminin and bovine thyroglobulin. Neonatal exposure to RRBC at 8 days of age did not induce in vivo tolerance to the epitope.
