description:	The epitope is analogous to the blood group oligosaccharide T antigen of humans and is proposed to be a part of the P blood group antigen. The epitope-specific mAb agglutinates erythrocytes from all adult blood tested (n=809), regardless of blood type and pregnancy status, while it only reacted with 7.4% of cord blood samples tested, and for them it exhibited only a weak reaction.
