description:	Adult transgenic mice crossed with mutant mice that lack the epitope produced a low level of epitope-specific antibody. Transgenic mice immunized with pig PBMC generated a significant response to the epitope. Transgenic mice crossed with wild-type mice did not produce epitope-specific antibody even after immunization with pig PBMC.
