The antigen was able to inhibit the binding of the epitope-specific mAb to plate-bound antigen. The mAb also bound to the antigen as shown by ELISA and Luminex assay. The antigen had an N-terminal Lys. Other smaller peptide fragments of gliadin were also tested.
