The epitope-TT conjugate is able to induce anti-LOS IgG responses and the free oligosaccharide inhibits the reactivity to LOS in competitive ELISA. Partially dephosphorylated oligosaccharide has a similar or higher inhibitory capacitiy. The presence of QuilA as an adjuvant probably influenced the fine specificity of the elicited antibodies, but not its titer.
