description:	The epitope, along with other peptides with the consensus sequence P[L/V]LXGT[L/V]P, was selected as a mimotope of the neutral polysaccharide fraction, mainly containing mannan and arabinomannan, of cell-wall antigens of M. tuberculosis. The phage-displayed peptide was significantly reactive with sera from tuberculosis patients.
