description:	The epitope was deduced. The epitope is found in strains Hall, FRI-honey, and Lock Maree. The epitope-specific mAb recognized BoNT A of strains Hall, Honey and Lock Maree. Mutation at position E8 of the epitopic region had the greatest impact on binding to both BoNT A and BoNT E. Monovalent solution IgG affinities for BoNT were generally equal to or higher than affinities measured for yeast-display scFv.
