description:	Neutral glycolipids were prepared from Folch upper phase of erythrocyte membranes of individuals with blood type AB. The epitope-specific mAb stained glycosphingolipids B-I, B-II, and B-III from type AB individuals by TLC. Upon treatment of fractions obtained from silicic acid column chromatography with a-N-acetylhexosaminidase or a-galactosidase, a branched hybrid-type molecule with both A and B determinants was not detected.
