name:
Synthetic anti-BR3 antibodies that mimic BAFF binding and target both human and murine B cells.
description:
The epitope-specific CB2 mAb competed with BAFF for binding to mBR3 expressed on BHK cells (IC50 = 65 nM for IgG protein), essentially neutralizing receptor function. In vivo treatment with CB2 mAb reduced blood and spleen B cell numbers in BALB/C mice, indicating CB2 reduced B cell proliferation.
