name:
Dominant cross-reactive antibodies generated during the response to a variety of oral bacterial species detect phosphorylcholine.
description:
The epitope-specific mAbs bound to Streptococcus anginosus OMZ 587 bacterial cells in ELISA. For mAb 376FN1, the reactivity was also detected with the bacterial cells as soluble phase competitors of the solid phase homologous bacteria. In general, these and/or other anti-PC mAbs reacted with S. anginosus OMZ 465 and OMZ 587.
