description:	The epitope-specific mAb recognized H. pylori recovered from Tg mice expressing the epitope 8 months after infection with a strain of H. pylori that does not normally express the epitope, but not from wildtype mice. These results suggest that infection of Le^b Tg mice led to expression of the epitope by H. pylori which correlated with variations in the expression of (beta-(1,3)galT) enzyme.
