name:
Natural mouse and human antibodies bind to a peptide derived from a germline VH chain. Evidence for evolutionary conserved self-binding locus.
description:
The peptide, derived from the T15 heavy chain variable region, inhibited the binding of epitope-specific mAb T15 to the peptide, which reflects the self-binding property of T15. The intact antibody T15 also inhibited the binding of T15 to the peptide. T15 was shown to directly bind the T15 peptide conjugated to BSA.
