name:
Structural definition of a conserved neutralization epitope on HIV-1 gp120.
description:
The epitope residues are calculated from the PDB structure [PDB: 2NY7] as antigen residues at 4 Å
distance from the antibody.
The epitope of Fab b12 antibody on the stabilized gp120 core (Ds12 F123) was determined from the crystal structure of the complex. The stabilized HIV gp120 core (Ds12 F123) had substitutions M95W, W96C, I109C, T257S, V275C, S334A, S375W, Q428C, A433M, as well as Gly-Ala-Gly tri-peptide substitutions for the V1/V2 and V3 loop regions.
