name:
Mechanisms of allergen-antibody interaction of cockroach allergen Bla g 2 with monoclonal antibodies that inhibit IgE antibody binding.
description:
The epitopic residues were shown to be important for allergic patients' IgE binding because single alanine Bla g 2 mutant K251A or mutant E233R-I199W-N268Q displayed reduced IgE binding. The N-linked carbohydrate added to residue N268 has been shown to be involved in IgE and mAb binding.
