The epitope-specific mAb 2F generated using enterotoxin NAG-ST from V. cholerae non-O1 STa was shown to recognize the native Y-ST toxin by competitive ELISA. Of the 137 strains of Y. enterocolitica toxins examined, 79 of these showed more than 40% inhibition using the ELISA method.
