The epitope inhibited the alpha-D-mannopyranoside- specific mAbs (2D10, 1H11) binding to immobilized mannopyranoside and 12 mer (DVFYPYPYASGS) mimic peptide by ELISA. The isotype of mAbs 1H11 and 1H7 was IgG1, and the isotype of mAb 2D10 was IgG2b. The light chain of mAbs 2D10 and 1H11 was Kappa chain.
