The epitope-specific mAb bound to PCV2a/LG, PCV2a/CL, and PCVa/JF2. Binding was measured using a Immunoperoxidase monolayer assay and ELISA. The epitope was mapped by replacing amino acid residues 47-72 in the capsid protein of PCV2a/CL with the corresponding region of PCV2b/YJ and by amino acid substitutions.
