The epitope-transferrin conjugate neoglycoprotein reacts with antisera to a N. benthamiana-expressed IgG1 anti-HIV antibody, 2G12. This is in accordance with the known N-glycan expressed in N. benthamiana-expressed antibodies, GnGnXF3, which is the epitope elongated at the non-reducing mannose residues by one GlcNAc extra residue.
